Opportunistic rogues who made themselves at home here thanks to my Summer compost shuffles and garden renovations.
The last juicy fruits of the season it feels like as today saw me in my morning spot outside with my hot tea at 6am...with sleeves! Yes sleeves.
There's a chill in that breeze that's come to visit for a few days after the rain.
So with thoughts of Winter veg in my head the garden has been planted again while fare welling the last of Summer...

Oh, yum!
Hey stranger.... love your melons!!!
Theres something so comforting about that chill isnt there?
We have pop corn growing and half eaten greens. Nothing exciting exciting going on in the back ground except the rustling of the leaves.
Yum. So looking forward to summer melons...and warmth! Hope Autumn has lots of wonderful in store for you.
Your melons are beautiful! I love the idea of sitting out in my garden drinking tea in the morning. Its always been an image of the perfect morning, yet I don't think I've EVER done it. hmmm. Enjoy your transition into Autumn!
what a wonderful surprize, to have them appear just like that. enjoy them!
How wonderful! I am excited to see what I can grow in my own little garden this summer. Looking forward to seeing what beauty Fall brings you.
Yum! Glorious! *s* ps. I've just nominated you for a little award - get into it if you feel like it ;)
Mmmmmm...melons! Wish I could grow them to juicy ripeness. Just not enough hot days here.
