I've been wearing tops like this for the longest time and to have my hands on a pattern as easy as this is a true gem. Though I must admit I botched my first attempt..... Sizing....what is it with pattern sizing I ask? Is it just me or do they add about 2 sizes more than what you should make?Despite this, take two was whipped up last week and turned out perfectly and at a price of $1 for the linen blend fabric that's doubly perfect.
I'm thinking of a mishmash blend of this pattern for a dress next..... after a couple of other little projects I have on the go of course......

great job on the top ....the style and linen will be perfect for the warmer weather. I love the pockets - very handy!
I tried this pattern & also ended up with a very large dress. Not sure whether to try and salvage it or start afresh.
its looking great, especially for the warmer weather and u will be able to dress it up or down with gret beads and bling
Lovely top..might have to try some sewing for myself for summer
Oh what a perfect top! Nice work. I'm a little jealous that you're heading for more weather that necessitates such a breezy slip of loveliness, while we here are beginning to pile on the layers and wool.
It is beautiful, love it.
