the earth turning

Have you felt it yet?

It's very subtle.
It's in the early morning and late afternoon light.
I can feel it on my skin and in my soul.
Mostly I can see it in the shadows..... both inside and out....

The way they have moved and changed.... streaming through the windows where they haven't for months..... sliding from trees and plants in the garden to sprawl across the lawn.

The seasons are changing.

I am not so sure I am finished with Summer yet.
Normally my yearning for cool beats me to the beginning of Autumn.....but not this year.

The earth is always turning.... leaving nothing quite static.
It is ever so gentle....but I am aware it is becoming different.

Hi there how are you? I was looking through your blog and found it interesting and wanted to leave you a comment.

I have an invitation for you to come and visit my art blog here in San Diego Southern California. I started this blog in an attempt at finding a creative way to deal with life on life's terms. I hope you will stop by and become friendly...

I think that you may enjoy the various labels and music videos I design for my art blog, hope to see you here soon and take care :)

My comment disappeared, lol!

I just wanted to say the photos are amazing. That first photo especially almost looks magical. It would be fun to just sit there for hours and watch the shadows move as the sun moves.

I am feeling it spin the opposite way here...turning subtly toward Spring each day. I 'm very much longing for warmer, longer days and the smell of the earth awakening.

Very beautiful shadow pictures- such fascinating patterns.

it is turning... I feel it too. Today I was thinking how it's time to drag the scorched veges out of the garden (48 degree days will do that!!) and prepare the soil for autumn planting.

Lovely photos and post. :o)
