I finally finished a lot of painting and oiling in the garden last week.
And we've decided on a name.
It's been a long road to completion....I can't believe my task of painting and oiling took so long. *sigh* For those of you who I teased some months ago with the start of this project....you have been most patient......or you have forgotten.....either way I can now proudly announce.....
Sunflower Cottage is complete!
Would you like to come and visit?
Just ring the bell.....
And there is sure to be a couple of little people just waiting to show you around.
There is an internal slide right down to the vege patch......

That is so lovely, I too thought about it a couple of days ago, I knew it couldn't be a henhouse, and now I know.

what a perfect place to play, dream and watch the garden grow. Wow! I'm sure it will be the new home away from home :)
Love your blog and passion for the garden. What a fantastic little house - many beautiful memories to be had in there Im sure.
Your kids are going to have a ball!
that's just the best. you built it? brilliant.
This is so beautiful! You children (and YOU) are lucky to have this magical haven. I wish I could ring on that bell and linger awhile over tea (in enchanted goblets no less). So, so wonderful- good job all!
What a beautiful life and blog you have! It's been a treat to browse around here the last little while. :)
I thought this was your new home. Absolutely beautiful. Really, the best cottage I have seen :)
Wow, I am in awe. And the sunflower photos are so beautiful. Great blog!
I have collected a cute retro teapot that is smaller than average, but haven't got anywhere with the cubby.
Wow! I was looking for the star you mentioned that you had made, and stumbled across this. My oh my what an amazing little cottage. Great name too. I love sunflowers! We are working on a little wooden playhouse for our girls. It came as a kit and is much smaller. This is lovely. :)
