the countdown

Today is the 1st day of December... and the first official day of Summer.
There is a lot to be excited about now like enjoying the true spoils of *Summeriness* and the festive season combined.
I have found some time for easy and long desired sewing and creating.
And we have consequently been decking our halls with everything handmade and Christmas-y.

The countdown begins...

Your Christmas decorations make me wish I had more time for sewing this year! Someday, I plan on having loads of hand stitched decorations, and when that year comes, I'm definitely going to look to this for some inspiration. Gorgeous!!

Great pictures. I find it so wonderful to see it done so differently. I always thought that it wasn't Christmas without a pile of wonderful sparkly white snow to play in. Well for me anyway. It is refreshing to see such beautiful summery things and the holidays together too.
I really enjoy your blog. Oh and you have terrific taste in music!! :o) Happy Holidays!

Your decorations are brilliant! I wish I'd had more time to make some this year - only got a couple of felt ornaments for the tree made - but I've been so busy with the market I haven't had time.

I love your garland of birds and your Christmas bunting. Christmas is such a busy and exciting time of year, but it is well worth the wait.

I'm loving your beautiful decorations and can't wait till we can decorate. No tree for us this year as with one hyperactive child who has the nickname 'fiddlefingers', we can't risk it. So we will admire yours.

I just can't imaging having summer and christmas at the same time, since I'm from Iceland. But I would love to experience it.

You have a lovely blog, by the way.
