Does sound lovely. I cant wait for the summer storms to start kicking in. All that dark cloud and thunder just teases. Hope you are well. Thanks for your chook remedies. We are still at war!
I have been surfing around and happened upon your blog. I love rainbows (I have a flickr group devoted to it here http://www.flickr.com/groups/rainbowspectrum/) and I just had to say that that is one awesome rainbow in your sidebar.
No sure about leeks origin. I picked one up at the Gardening Australia expo two years ago from a bunch of random plants that the Fuchsia Society were selling! They don't seen to grow into anything big and fat, and I haven't yet tried them myself as I guess I was waiting for that 'big' size. Now that I know it is a smaller plant, I will start harvesting in the winter. I will let you know soon as I have seeds.

Oh, loveliness. If we ate outside right now we'd freeze, but oh how I just love alfresco dining.
As I swelter down here at 39c. Would you like some seeds from my leeks when ready?
