...Homemade Rainbows...

weekend footprints

* Admiring the seasons bromeliad flowers in the garden under gentler breeze laden cloudy skies.....

* Trying enticing recipes for the first time that have been stored away for a *rainy day*....like rosewater jelly....
* Delighting in friends for dinner, children playing and nervously testing new recipes for dessert.....

* Beginning a knitting project and relishing the heavenly textures of soft wool and rosewood needles.

* Stolen moments feasting on yoghurt and honey in the silent crisp air of dawn with only the birds and chickens for company......
* Wishing all my women friends a sparkly yet reflective International Women's Day for 2009.

What a beautiful, beautiful post. A lovely life, and so many things to be grateful for. This was a delight to read and see. The flowers are very pretty, by the way. :)

The rosewater jelly was devine! Even the copious amounts of red wine I consumed couldn't take away from it.

Ohh- love your new header! Looks like it was a weekend full of delights. The colors and textures in the photos are all very enticing. I've never had rosewater jelly. I wonder what it compares to here??

I love your rose wood needles. I prefer to knit on wooden needles. I like the feel of them.:)
