clicketyclack

There sadly hasn't been much *making of things* going on here lately and it seems to be staying that way on the slow burner for a bit yet, unless of course I can learn to *make* more time.

But I can show you another project that made it off my crochet hook recently (after the *nowel* that is)....plus a glimpse of some others that have progressed a little on the needles.

It seems I am one for making the same mistake with my knitting as I do with reading books.....I can never just have one on the go.....

So I am still at it however slowly.....
With every quick brief tiny spare minute I have I do get to hear some of that sweet sound......clicketyclack......just for a moment or two each day.

Oh gorgeous hat for your little dear. And the projects in the works are looking quite lovely too. Hmm...what will they be?

Feeling a little stalled myself in the crafting category. If you do ever figure out how to make more time, I sure would like to know!

Very pretty little hat.

Seems like handwork, in any quantity, is very soothing...

Oh yes time, I would love a bit more of that, still 10 minutes here, 5 minutes there and I can manage to get a bit more done and be grateful with that. The hat will be nice in the cooler weather coming.
take care

I love the hat, and the flower embellishment. I am glad I am not the only one that reads multiple books @ a time and has a few projects going @ once. My mom is always teasing.

I love the hat too and I especially love the wool in the bottom picture. I just love knitting lol It doesnt feel right to only have one knitting project on the go:)

I enjoy having more than one project on the go. Keeps me stimulated.

Lovely hat, is it your pattern? I would like to make one like that.

That is a sweet sound! And, books, knitting, sewing....they are all the same, you can never have just one going at a time.
Oh, if you figure out that whole making more time thing, do share!

the hat is fabulous. i'm not good at knitting and crochet - i keep trying but i guess i don't read the instructions properly and i just try and 'wing' it. i need to see someone do it to understand it better. i am, however, making granny squares at the moment - i like to do a little each night whilst listening to the tv - very soothing :)

Just had to tell you, Fauna (my oldest) adores you! It's so funny, she is always asking about you and gets so excited when you leave a comment (no pressure). She always clicks on your comment to see if you have posted something new. She was so excited to see a pic of your daughter, especially in a knit hat. She loves knit hats (love you more now that you knit the hat). Just had to let you know what a fan you had from a small town in Ohio! ;)

Do you have a pattern for that cute hat? Is it available on line??? I've been making them for the save the children fund, winter warm project for children in afganistan who are freezing in their snowy winters.
