::: monday's summer pics :::

Salads with homegrown sprouts, cucumbers, papaya, lettuce and chard.
Sharing fresh spoils and maybe an icy beer in the balmy fading light of afternoon.
Listening to the laughter of friends and the squeals of barefoot children as they delight in the wildness of the garden at the end of a hot day...
but not to drown out the sweet sweet sounds of beautiful Australian musical artists....

I have been sprouting too! Your words, the food, and the music all sound so lovely. Can I come over?

I adore Angus and Julia Stone, you have great taste!
Our garden and chook pen have been taken over by a very large gum tree branch. Looking forward to next years summer crops though.

That salad looks delicous and I'm envious! We are trying to be locavores at the moment! Our cluster month has gone from June to every month at about a weeks length. My sisters keep breeding and they always seem to fall around other birthdays. One day I will be a grandmother and I will probably just cluster!

That Picture is divine! Looks like sunshine. I also enjoyed Angus and Julia Stone. I will have to check out more of their stuff! I would love to add them to my Music Sunday list for sure.
Thanks for sharing such wonderful things, give my Monday a great start!

Our unusually cold winter has finally subsided. We're back to a much milder happier one. But, the freezing temps of the past weeks have left me craving spring and summer more than ever. I so miss the food and the warmth. What a beautiful bowl of yumminess...and oh, how I have a fondness for running around barefoot. :)

That salad looks scrumptious. We are in the middle of winter here, but am looking forward to spring time plantings!

I don't know how on earth I've managed to not comment on these last few posts - i've lost my mind, I guess.
Have a bit of high summertime for me, too.
