number five
this last week we have again been nursing a couple of coughs and colds
not a great start for the beginning of the school holidays
but the slower pace and unhurried indulgent mornings have been perfect for healing and feathering our nest
the kind of feathering that happens when you are forced indoors thanks to sniffles and gloomy chill bitten weather
the last two days however have started with sunshine and almost cloudless skies
the last two days however have started with sunshine and almost cloudless skies
so here I post my winter pics early
photo's of our well feathered nest
because tomorrow the little ones and I are spreading our wings
and taking off into the (hopefully continuing) sunshine to *the farm* and the arms of Grandma and Grandad for a few days
fishing
wandering
beach combing
maybe canoe-ing
breathing
and there is talk of more fire
ah a little feathering for the body and soul.

Beautiful pictures!
Have FUN Leanne :) xo
Sounds like y'all are in for some great times. Perfect for post-sniffles recovery. Enjoy!!
enjoy the adventures. sounds like plenty of fun in store...
I always find it so funny that you are in the opposite season over there. We are just starting to enjoy summer here, and all your delightful summer posts brightened my winter! My daughter was asking if you get snow in the winter. How cold does it really get?
a little feathering (or a lot!) is always a good idea, I think!
that picture up top is breathtaking. feathering for the body and soul sounds divine.
